What I like about B

The title of your blog really sets the tone for the style and topics of your posts. This was an especially difficult task for me, as I felt my blog had no specific direction per say. How do I come up with a catchy title that will still leave me open to discuss whatever I find awesome and interesting at any given time?
So, I got to thinking about the important factors in my life, the activities and people I've grown to love, the places I've lived, the values I hold dear, my name which, quite frankly, is awesome; and I realized one blatantly obvious similarity, 98% of these things begin with the letter B! AH HA! I have found it, the elusive hook that will bring all of my inane musings together as one cohesive project! The letter B! And so, I will try to the best of my ability, to have each post from here on out be loosely related to one of the B's that makes my life a little brighter. And hopefully, through this, make your life a little brighter too.
With that, I will leave you on the edge of your seat for the first real B lovin' post. Until next time...

In the beginning

So, now it is time for the cliche 'First Blog Post'. While trying to craft a seemingly effortless, original and witty post, I began to make a list of some of the 'classic themes':

"My friend's have been telling me to start writing one of these forever, and I thought to myself, why wait?"

"I have always thought of myself as an idea person, why not share my ideas with the world?"

"I'm a great _____ cook! Check out this blog for more great ______ recipes! Bon Appetit!"

"I've just gotten engaged/married/pregnant/had a child/lost a job/retained a job/eaten a really big sandwich; I can help others like me!"

"I heard that blogging is a good way to make some cash on the side, now I just have to figure out how to make people read what I write..."

"I'm really bored with the current state of my life and am searching to give it meaning. Maybe people want to join me on this journey to see where I end up?"

Rest assured, all of these things are the purpose of my blog. With a heavy dash of sarcasm and cynicism where appropriate.

And probably little to no recipes. Because I don't cook with them; its called adventure cooking. Nothing is ever the same twice.
